Welcome

Welcome to all whom venture here

The Independence Place is a facility for services to be provided for individuals with ASD and typically developing individuals with social needs. It is also a place for parents, the schools and community to come together for support and workshops to meet the needs of these individuals.

Mission and Vision

Our Mission is to provide a place where needed programs for individuals with ASD and social challenges can be provided,  and that families and community agencies can join together for support in working toward a common goal—for each individual to reach their maximum potential for independence in adulthood.

We believe and envision that through quality programming and collaboration with families, schools, and the community firm foundations for children with ASD can be built and continued growth can be facilitated throughout life’s transitions toward adulthood. Our end goal is for each individual to achieve the maximum possible integration into society and to the utmost of their ability become independent, productive members of the home communities in which they will live.
